Patrick E. McNamara: Founder & Principal Attorney

The Founder and Principal Attorney at McNamara Law Firm, Patrick brings with him over eight years of dynamic experience in the practice of law. Admitted to practice in both Nebraska and New York, Patrick guides his staff and associates using solid legal skills and natural business acumen.

Patrick began his legal career at a prominent commercial litigation firm in New York, where he represented national clients, including John Deere, Costco, and 1-800-FLOWERS.  From there, he began assisting clients with their wills, trusts and estates.  In his experience, Patrick soon came to realize a need for tailored and focused legal services geared to serving small businesses, individuals, and families. It was then that he decided to create McNamara Law Firm, P.C., L.L.O.

Patrick is actively involved in the Omaha community as a member of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce, the Omaha Bar Association, and the Nebraska Bar Association.  He was the Secretary of the Executive Council of the Omaha Bar Association and the Editor of the Young Lawyers Page of the Nebraska Lawyer Magazine.  Patrick is also a Director on the Board of his residential homeowners' association and served as the 2016 President of the Omaha Barristers' Club.

Originally from New York, Patrick has found a second home in Omaha with his wife, Katherine, who is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Iowa.  In his free time, Patrick loves to golf and root for the New York Mets, Jets and Islanders.

Scott is a Senior Certified Law Clerk at McNamara Law Firm.  Joining the firm in the twilight of his law school tenure, Scott brings an energy and fervor for many aspects of law. Scott enjoys flexing his legal muscle in the areas of contract review, business formation, property law, and legal research and writing, among others. While Scott has thoroughly enjoyed those specific areas, he hopes to continue to refine his legal skills through the Creighton Law Review as a Lead Articles Editor and as a member of the Moot Court Board.

Hailing from the Windy City, Scott loves all things Chicago (minus the Bears). Stemming from his past life in sales, Scott has always enjoyed traveling. Last summer, his travels took him to California where he worked as a law clerk. He recently visited the East Coast this summer, and hopes to return there for vacation soon. In his spare time he enjoys staying active, trying new restaurants with his girlfriend, Bridgette, and tending to his indoor garden.
